First! Back with a comment after I listen to it tomorrow morning.
I deleted my first comment cuz I'd only listened to about 15 minutes of the podcast before commenting. Please pardon my criticisms, but I know they'll be appreciated. Very nice first show, guys! You both have great "radio voices" and are quite articulate. There's also a great vocal contrast going on. Jeremy's voice sounds very low and brooding while Steve's is a little higher pitched and more intense. As George Lucas would say, "Faster, more intense." I think perhaps Jeremy needs to be closer to the mic or speak a little louder. It was a tad difficult making out what he said a few times. That being said, I never once got bored with the material. However, by the time you got to talking about Star Trek I was ready to wrap it up. I know there's a certain creative flow that can't be interrupted when you have two people so "in-tune" with one another, but it just felt like it went on too long. I'd love to say that I could listen to you guys all day, because I'm SOOOO with you on your topics, but the point I think is to get people to come back; to keep them wanting more. I think allotting yourself a shorter, but somewhat fluid timeslot will help with that. As I said, very nice first show guys! I'm very much looking forward to episode 2.
Nice to hear you two finally got your lazy asses together to do this. A little long, but it's true to both of your ramblings. How much pot was smoked and alcohol drank during this episode?
Great first show, guys! Reminded me of SModcast, and that's a good thing.
I agree with Kevin. I don't think the show needs to be necessarily shorter, but it maybe should be broken up into segments. Somewhere the listener could stop, and pick it up later if they wanted to.
I really think that an obscure movie pick should be a regular feature.
Keep up the good work, I'm excited for show two.
I downloaded and just finished watching "Unhinged." I can honestly say that was NOT the ending I was expecting. Keep those movie picks coming!
Thanks for the feedback, guys! Keep it up! We appreciate everything that's been said..and, remember, Episode 2 coming this weekend!
looks like you guys called it...
New York Times
waiting patiently for episode 2...
